The Amédée lighthouse island - where the weather is always nicer! What an amazing place... This small island is situated on the egde of the coral reef that surrounds New Caledonia. Away from Nouméa we spent an amazing time there, enjoying the turquoise water, coconut trees, blue sky, beautiful
white sandy beaches and the awesome view from the snow white lighthouse...

Der schneeweiße Leuchtturm auf dem kleinen Eiland Amédée fernab der Hauptstadt Nouméa lässt Träume wahr werden. Dieses Paradies liegt direkt am Neukaledonischen Barriereriff. In Nouméa wird mit dem Slogan: "Dort, wo das Wetter immer schöner ist" geworben. Und in der Tat hätte das Wetter dort nicht besser sein können - azurblauer Himmel, keine Wolke weit und breit, türkisblaues Wasser, weicher Sandstrand, großgewachsene Kokospalmen und ein einzigartiger Ausblick vom Leuchtturm... Wir haben dort einen wunderschönen Nachmittag verbracht. Seht selbst...

Mission: Tricot Rayé - Ahhhhhh
On Amédée Island you can find plenty of these snakes!
Who can catch a tricot rayé?
(As I already mentioned, the bite of a tricot rayé can have deadly consequences.
But in general there are not aggressive at all. Nevertheless one should pay attention...)

At the end some impressions from our last trip with our Polish princess Arnika before her departure!
Even though she had some problems with paddling in the beginning, she was almost the first who reached the island "Ilot canard"! We had a lot of fun and muscle ache the day after... ;)
Ah, I forgot one thing to say: Arnika, we miss your commanding tone! ;)

Zum Schluss noch ein paar Impressionen von unserem letzten Ausflug mit Prinzessin Arnika ;) Obwohl sie zu Beginn am meisten Probleme mit dem Paddeln hatte, ist sie tatsächlich fast als Erste auf der kleinen Insel "Ilot canard" angekommen! Muskelkater hatten wir am nächsten Tag trotzdem alle. Ist nämlich doch ganz schön anstrengend... Hihi ;)
